
JASON SHERIFF Founder and Director A man redeemed by grace and called to help others find the same freedom. Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, he knows the darkness of addiction and life-changing power of Jesus Christ. His testimony fuels this mission to empower men to overcome addiction and step into the hope God has for them. With compassion shaped by his own journey, Jason meets men right where they are. He is certified in Christian Counseling and registered as a Behavior Technician, NC Peer Support Specialist, WRAP Certified, Encompass Certified in navigating addiction, trained in Adult Spiritual and Mental Health First Aid, certified as a Trauma-Informed Coach, Life Coach, and Recovery Coach through the American Association of Christian Counseling. He also holds Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certifications through the American Red Cross. Jason serves with authenticity, humility, and unwavering faith, He is always ready to share the hope that saved his life and continues to transform others through his own personal calling.
Reverand W. Kyle Miller Secretary Pastor Kyle extends an opportunity to worship and pray with the men of IDI Ministries. at his church in Washington, North Carolina, and also as an instructor with Pathway. He has served in a variety of roles in ministry including Senior Pastor, Church Planter, Committee Member, Instructor with North Texas District School of Ministry, curriculum writer with Radiant Life, author of various web articles and the book A Bible Study Companion, editor for The Great Commission Study Bible, author of the blog Bibleversity, and has served in children's and youth ministry roles. Brother Kyle holds a BS in Pastoral ministries and an MA in Bible and Theology through Southwestern A/G University in Waxachie Texas. Kyle is in the process of writing his Ph.D. dissertation to complete in Biblical Exposition through Liberty University. Pastor Kyle joins IDI with a heart for men in addiction. With close ties to Teen/Life Challenge, the Pastor has enjoyed connecting with men who are suffering by helping them find the freedom and life that only Christ can offer. Along with his wife, Stephanie, Pastor Kyle is proud to be part of this ministry and see lives change for eternity.


Wayne Langston Real Estate Officer Wayne Langston is a faithful member of Hope Assembly of God for more than 20 years. He rededicated his life to Jesus Christ on October 3, 2010, after first being saved and baptized in his early teens. Wayne is the owner of Coast2 Coast Group, LLC, a real estate investing company, and currently resides in Greenville, North Carolina. Mr. Langston, is the hub of the vision for IDI Ministries as the organization strives to meet their goals for their first location where rehabilitation will have an official home. Wayne is grateful for the opportunity to join IDI Ministries and support their mission of guiding through addiction into recovery. He looks forward to seeing men rediscover freedom, healing, and the plans God has for their lives.
Robbie Cox Board Member Robbie Cox was born and raised in Washington North Carolina and has been saving lives as a firefighter for 35 years. He began his career as a volunteer firefighter at Clarks Neck VFD and worked his way up to Captain and Training Officer. Since 2004, he has served full-time as a firefighter/AEMT and member of the Crystal Coast Water Rescue Team. Robbie and his family have attended Hope Church for over 20 years. Robbie felt God's timing when Jason invited him to join the IDI Ministries board. He hopes to use his years of emergency services, rescue experience, and compassion to support men battling addiction by showing Christ's love, offering steady guidance, and helping them grow stronger in their walk with God.


Dr. Richard Sherrif Treasurer Dr. Sherrif grew up in Eastern North Carolina and later attended Pembroke University, Cape Fear Community College, and Shaw University. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, earning two Purple Hearts for combat wounds in Vietnam. After giving his life to Christ at age 38, he felt called into ministry and completed seminary studies, earning a B.M. in 1989, an M.M. in Christian Counseling in 1995. He founded Christian Counseling Connection in Wilmington and counseled for six years while working for the DuPont Company, where he later retired from the Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Department in 2002. Soon after, he was called into pastoral ministry and served 14 years as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Chocowinity. He and his wife, Judy, have lived in Beaufort County for more than 22 years. When the founder invited him to IDI Ministries, Richard felt God's clear direction. As the Treasurer, he hopes to use decades of Christian counseling, pastoral leadership, and administrative experience to support men in recovery and their families. He considers this one of the greatest privileges God has given him and looks forward to serving wherever IDI Ministries needs him.
Lee Jones Board Member Lee Jones, known to family and friends as Lee, is honored to serve as a board member with IDI Ministries, Born and raised in Kershaw, South Carolina, he later traveled the world during his service in the US Navy. Since 2000, Lee has worked as a press operator with Cooke Publications. He and his wife have two daughters and a "grand cat" named Grace. He enjoys NASCAR, sports, and raising his feathered friends. After finding freedom in Jesus in 2017, Lee felt a clear call to help people facing the same struggles he once knew so well. When invited to IDI Ministries, especially in the Recovery Courthouse Outreach, he knew God was placing him in the right place at the right time. Lee hopes his testimony, humility, and real-life experience will help men discover the same victory and freedom Christ gave to him.
